This is the starter library that ships with the platform, not a claim about the size of a language. Spanish is the deepest and is being taken to a thousand words first. You can import your own list from a spreadsheet at any point, and a teacher can build decks from anything the class is reading.
How the library is organised
Twelve topics
Core words, people, food, places, time, body, home, work, nature, feelings, everyday verbs and describing words. Every language uses the same twelve, so switching does not mean relearning the furniture.
Frequency first
Every word carries a frequency rank, so the default order through a language is the order that pays back soonest.
