The library
Words, decks and stories.
Every word carries its part of speech, gender where the language has one, a reading and a transliteration where the script needs them, an example sentence, and a hook.
Stories
Written to be read, not to be decoded.
Short, level-marked, and built out of the words in the decks under them. Tap any underlined word.
El gato de la ventanaA1
Tap an underlined word. In the app the same tap also tells you whether that word is already in your collection and when it is next due.

This is the library that ships with the platform, not a claim about the size of a language. The phrase column counts collocations and idioms, the things you say whole rather than assemble word by word, and they can be studied on their own. You can import your own list from a spreadsheet at any point, and a teacher can build decks from anything the class is reading.
How the library is organised
Twelve topics
Core words, people, food, places, time, body, home, work, nature, feelings, everyday verbs and describing words. Every language uses the same twelve, so switching does not mean relearning the furniture.
Frequency first
Every word carries a frequency rank, so the default order through a language is the order that pays back soonest.
Yours on top
Import a CSV, build decks by filter, and write your own hooks over anything shipped.
