About
Built by one person who got tired of forgetting.
Mnememory is made by Bespoke Business Development, a one person firm in Palm Bay, Florida. That is the whole company. It is worth knowing before you buy.
Why this exists
Language software has been very good at two things for a decade: getting you to come back tomorrow, and giving a classroom something to read. It has been oddly bad at the thing in the middle, which is making a word stay in a head.
Both halves of the fix are old. The keyword method has been studied since the seventies. Spaced repetition has been studied for longer than that. Neither is controversial and neither is hard to find. They are just rarely built together, and almost never built together with a classroom on top.
What being small means for you
- The person who answers your email built the product
- A feature your department needs can actually move up the list
- The price is a fraction of what this category charges
- There is no sales process to survive before you can try it
And what it costs you
- No third party security certification yet
- No rostering integration yet
- A starter library rather than a mature catalogue
- One person, which is a real single point of failure and you should weigh it
How this is built
Verified, not vibed
The scheduler has its own test harness, the content has a consistency harness, and the front end is driven in a real browser on every change. Two hundred and seventy four checks have to pass before anything ships.
Your data stays put
Everything lives in the database of the site you are on. Nothing is shipped to a third party unless you switch on hook generation, and then only the single word being worked on.
Said plainly
Every page on this site says what the product cannot do as clearly as what it can. That is not modesty, it is the cheapest way to avoid a refund in November.
